DPT, active state license with number, PT Compact privileges if you hold them, and any board specialty written as “Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)” so the parser matches both forms. Bare “OCS” gets missed by ATS that only string-match the full term — and the specialty is a genuine differentiator (about 25,000 PTs hold the OCS).
Quantify outcomes against a benchmark, not activities
Goal-attainment rate vs clinic benchmark, FIM or FOTO gains vs a stated baseline, episode length reduced while scores held, documentation compliance. “Provided skilled PT to a diverse caseload” is invisible; “90% goal attainment against an 85% benchmark” is a hire. Aim for a number in at least half your bullets.
Name the EMR — it's a hard screen
WebPT, Epic, Net Health (formerly Casamba/Optima), Netsmart — clinics filter on the system they run, and a PT who's productive on day one is worth more than one who needs a week of onboarding. For travel especially, listing multiple EMRs signals the zero-ramp value that agencies pay for.
Match the setting — each one screens differently
Outpatient wants manual therapy, per-visit volume and outcomes; acute wants FIM, early mobility and discharge planning; home health wants OASIS compliance and readmission reduction; travel wants multi-EMR onboarding and compact privileges. Re-weight the same experience toward the setting you're targeting.

“Developed and implemented treatment plans” describes every PT. Add the goal-attainment rate, the FIM gain, the compliance percentage.
No metrics anywhere
Caseload, outcome scores vs benchmark, documentation compliance, readmissions avoided. At least half your bullets should carry a number.
Bare acronyms the ATS can't match
Write “Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)” and “National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)” once — parsers match the form you wrote, not the one you meant.
EMR left unnamed
WebPT, Epic, Net Health — clinics screen on their system. “Electronic documentation” matches none of them.
