Do I have to pay anything to use Resumap?
No. Building, editing, and downloading an ATS-friendly PDF is free, forever, on the free templates (Modern, Classic, Compact, Gazette). The free tier never asks for a credit card.
What costs credits then?
Optional features: additional ATS analyses (the first per resume is free), importing an existing CV from PDF, and unlocking Pro templates. Each has a fixed credit cost listed above — no surprises, no auto-charges.
Is this a subscription?
No. Credit packs are one-time purchases. There is no recurring charge, no trial that converts to monthly, no 'membership.' Buy credits when you need them; the balance never expires.
Why credits instead of a flat fee?
Because users have very different needs. Someone building one resume needs zero paid features. Someone running 30 ATS scans across a multi-month search needs more. A subscription forces both into the same bucket and overcharges the first group while undercharging the second. Credits charge each user for what they actually use.
Do credits expire?
No. Once purchased, credits stay on your account. Use them this week or in two years.
Can I get a refund?
Yes for unused credits within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email [email protected] with your account email and we'll process it.
Will I be auto-charged when credits run out?
No. When you run out, paid features simply pause. The free builder keeps working as normal. You decide if and when to top up.
